After the pandemic...

Dear Patrons,

We hope you and your family are safe and well. It’s been a strange time since the Coronavirus hit the U.S. and Harris County issued the Stay-at-Home order on March 24. As you know, we had to cancel our April & May Promenade Series concerts. We were able to postpone our remaining Star-Lit! Series concerts, Daneliya Tuleshova and The Texas Tenors. The Texas Tenors will now open our 2020-2021 Season on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

While we are all social distancing, we wanted you to know that we have not forgotten or given up on our mission. Much like the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, we will be stronger than before and look forward to our 24th season, 2020-2021.

While uncertainty seems to be a part of daily life, we are certain we need to continue in our mission to provide outstanding performances and educational opportunities for our community. While we are cutting expenses in every way possible in the coming months, we need your help now. Cypress Creek FACE will recover, but only with the assistance of our most loyal fans and donors.

We will continue our three major performing arts series ~ Star-Lit!, Promenade and Free Children’s ~ in the 2020-2021 Season. Our summer camp program for 2020 is still on hold. We are awaiting a determination by Klein ISD as to whether we can hold the camps this summer. As soon as we know, we will announce their decision.

Our plan has been to return the Klein Art Days 3rd Grade Field Trip program to the new George H. W. Bush Community Center, located across from the Barbara Bush Library, this fall 2020. We still believe that will happen.

It is truly because of donations such as yours that FACE has been able to achieve our mission of bringing cultural arts programming and educational opportunities to the northwest Houston area. On behalf of our many concert-goers, the board of directors and the staff at Cypress Creek FACE, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous support and your faith in us.

These past few years have been challenging with a hurricane and a pandemic, but with the support of the community we will be able to survive and thrive. We look forward to your joining us in our mission with a pledge of financial support and your presence at our concerts this fall.  Thank you.
