The Centrum Arts League formally debuted in the summer of 1998 with its mission to support Cypress Creek FACE. This volunteer group, with over 200 members, raises funds each year to sponsor the Free Children’s Series, the Family Series, and our annual Focus on Education scholarships as well as helping to fund the FACE operating budget. Additionally, the League provides countless hours of volunteer work and forms a strong base of community support for FACE concerts at The Centrum. Since 1998, The Centrum Arts League has raised over $750,000 to support the mission of FACE and given over 35 scholarships to area music students attending the University of Houston Moores School of Music or Sam Houston State University.

Throughout the year, the League hosts a variety of entertaining, educational, social and fundraising events. In the coming year, The Centrum Arts League will host a Membership Soirée on Monday, August 31, 2010, their Annual Best of the Northwest Gala on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Champions Golf Club, a Holiday Luncheon in December, a Champagne & Chocolate Event in February, and their annual Pizzazz with Jazz Fundraising Luncheon in May.
