The Moores School Concert Chorale is the school’s premier large choral ensemble and consists of 48 advanced singers. Their rich harmonies and vibrant performances have thrilled audiences in Texas and around the nation. They recently debuted in one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious choral festivals, Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales, and received several honors including 1st place in the Chamber Choir competition. The Concert Chorale, under the direction of Betsy Cook Weber, will perform a program featuring Mendelssohn, Brahms & Rossini.

Membership in the Chorale consists primarily of junior and senior music majors, but is also open to experienced choral singers from other departments. The purpose of this ensemble is to provide high-level choral experiences for undergraduates. Performance literature includes a wide variety of musical styles from the standard concert repertory.

Dr. Betsy Cook Weber holds degrees from North Texas State University, Westminster Choir College, and the University of Houston.
