Robert Brewer, Organist

Enjoy an organ recital by Houstonian Robert Brewer.

Robert Brewer holds the degree of Master of Music in organ from Indiana University. He is in demand as a choral conductor, clinician, vocal coach, accompanist, chamber musician, and keyboard soloist. He has been Organist and Choirmaster at Saint Paul’s UMC and is currently organist-choirmaster at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Houston. His previous work with professional choral ensembles in Houston includes posts as Director of the Houston Concert Chorale, Director of Houston Masterworks Chorus, and Masterworks Chamber Choir, and Guest Conductor of the Houston Bach Choir.

Mr Brewer has given organ recitals at Westminster Abbey, concluding week-long residencies by the choir. He has played in several organ recitals sponsored by AGO, and recitals in New Orleans, Austin, and Houston. Under his direction the Saint Paul’s Choir sang concerts and Evensong services at regional and national conventions of ACDA, and numerous programs with the Houston Ballet, and the Mark Morris Ballet sponsored by the Society for the Performing Arts. Mr Brewer served as the harpsichordist in the orchestra for that event.

Promenade Series Season Tickets ordered before August 25, 2008 are just $60 for individuals and $175 for families. The season ticket includes all ten (10) concerts. After August 25 the Individual price is $70 and the Family price is $200.

Single ticket prices are: $12 adult, $10 senior, $6 child/student. Group tickets are also available for $8 each for groups of 10 or more.
