Ball in the House
7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007
Ball in the House is five guys and five voices. That’s it- although you may find that hard to believe. The Boston based pop/R&B group takes a capella to the next stage, with vocal drums/beatbox and vocal bass under their lush harmonies, creating a sound so rich and dense that you will think there must be instruments involved. They astound audiences nationally with their exciting live shows and with their recordings; perhaps they are most widely known as “the Cool Whip guys” because of their work on radio and TV ads for the product. Songwriter’s Monthly says: “Jaw-dropping a capella brilliance. Top 10 song crafting skills, and genius arrangements make Ball in the House one of the best bands around, bar none.” Despite their commercial success, the guys of Ball in the House make their biggest impact in their educational outreach. They help kids realize singing is cool – and when you hear Ball in the House sing, you’ll know it’s true! Don’t let your family miss this show!
